Hazel Woodward has hit a wall and can't seem to get over it. Her career is in jeopardy and she needs to get out of Manhattan away from all her problems to find a solution. I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. You are immediately embraced by this small town and it's characters and magical lore surrounding the town.
Hazel is an author fighting to get over writer's block and falls in love with a small town and falls in love with the 200-year-old story. Adam is the owner of the local hotel and has avoided relationships because no one wants to stay in this small town and he refuses to leave his home.
This book is action-packed and will keep you turning the pages as unexpected ghostly happenings push these two together. Despite Adam negating his family's claims that their grandmother haunts the hotel, even he can't deny the unusual happenings. Highly recommend.
