Maddie and her friends have been in Spain partying for the last month celebrating their college graduation, but tomorrow it's time to go home. Unlike her two friends, who come from money, it was a working holiday but she has had the time of her life.
And what better way to remember their trip than hooking up with the gorgeous man at the club bar. When she went searching for her friends to let them know she was leaving with him she got caught up in the middle of a bar brawl and the next thing she knew it was lights out.
Two years later they are in Sorrento for another trip celebrating Eve's cousin's wedding. The wedding party was heading to the front table and she almost choked on her drink when she saw that her one-night stand was the best man.
I loved this book. It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. I have to first start off saying for those who don't like cliffhangers... this book leaves you on a major cliff.
This book is action-packed, smoking hot, full of angst and major drama. Maddie and Henry come from two different worlds and every time things seem to be working out Maddie gets another bomb thrown at her. To say that Henry and his world have put Maddie through the wringer is putting it mildly.
I totally enjoyed this debut book and can't wait to see how Maddie and Henry's story unfolds. Highly recommend.
