REVIEW - LUCA by LM Fox

Luke Barrett has been sitting in the overcrowded emergency room for a while and was wondering if he should just call it a day. After all, it was probably just the barbeque he ate and the nursing staff was obviously overwhelmed if the non-movement in the waiting room was any indication.

As he is sitting debating he gets a call from his sister begging him to pick up Mimmo from the bus stop. Then his name is called. Looking at his watch he decided to see the doctor first since he was already there.

He was stripping down after he finally figured out how the hospital gown snapped together only to hear a throat clear behind him. Flipping around he is speechless at the beautiful nurse staring at him with glowing red cheeks from the show he just gave her.

Only to find out he doesn't have a stomachache, he needs to have emergency surgery before his appendix bursts.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable! This book is unlike any of LM Fox's previous stories.

Jillian is an overworked emergency room nurse with three children and a painful past that still gives her nightmares.

Luke is a gorgeous Italian man covered in tattoos who is running from his past under a false identity.

George may be an obnoxious slob but I also like banana and mayo sandwiches and get the same reaction to them as Luca lol.

This book is action-packed, steamy hot and full of danger and suspense. Just when Jillian and her kids think their lives are perfect the world drops from under their feet. This is my favorite LM Fox story to date and I absolutely loved the ones before! These children will grab your heart and make you laugh. And steamy hot... whew! Highly recommend! Can't wait for Matteo's story!
