REVIEW - A CELTIC YULETIDE CAROL by Jennifer Ivy Walker

Cardin was on his way back home having been summoned by his ill mother. He and his brother Gaultier had been serving King Phillippe for the last six years defending the Atlantic coast of France.

He was a broken man and he was ashamed of the man he had become. A drunken gambler. But it was time to face his past and meet the son who he had never set eyes on as he refused to have anything to do with him after his beloved wife died giving him birth.

Laudine had hatched a plan to bring her sons home for the Yuletide celebrations. She was determined to have her youngest son home so he could heal both his and his son's heart. So she asked her best healer Ulla to send a letter asking for them to return as their mother's final wish was to have her sons with her for the Yuletide season.

I loved this story! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is a standalone romance, but the characters are recurring from The Wild Rose and the Sea Raven Trilogy.

If you like Viking romance you will love this story. This story is action-packed and full of treachery. Cardin and Ulla's story will break your heart as they both heal from the tragic loss of their loved ones. Highly recommend!
