Noel always loves coming home to Mistletoe, Wisconsin, at Christmas. But since her father died six months ago she didn't know how she and her mother were going to get through the holiday.
The drive has taken longer than usual driving through the heavy snow and she is almost home she skids off the road when she avoids hitting a rabbit. Of all the places to land in a ditch. It was in front of her ex-boyfriend's family tree farm.
She had managed to avoid him for the last eight years when she had returned home, and even through the heavily falling snow she knew who the ax-carrying lumberjack trying to assist her was. And based on the look on his face, he was just as unhappy as she was.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.
Prepare to cry! Luke, the town Grinch, was devastated when Noel left him and the town behind to follow her dreams of working with a hockey team. This second-chance, forced proximity romance is smoking hot and full of angst and an unexpected scare.
I won't give away any spoilers, but this book is steamy hot and highly emotional. Highly recommend!
