REVIEW - HOME RUN FOR HUNTER by Cici Skye

Hunter was leaving directly from his high school graduation for baseball camp where he had been signed with a big-league team.  His only regret was that he never had a chance to have a relationship, besides just friends, with Maria since they both were in a relationship when the other was single.  The time was never right.  And now he had to catch a flight because baseball was his first love.

Maria is just starting her new career as a sports journalist.  She just got hired as the on-air reporter for the Jackson Jackals and Hunter is their star player.  But, even though she is back around him after 4 years there are explicit rules not to get involved with the players.

This is the 1st book in the Jocks of Jackson series.  I really enjoyed this book especially since it involved my favorite sport.  I found the author to be very knowledgeable in the ins and outs of baseball.  With both the game and the reporters.  I love how Maria had a history with Hunter and wasn't just a groupie.  Hunter is the quintessential gorgeous jock without all the cockiness.  And you can't have a great story without dramatic trouble making b@$*&  you just want to slap.  Al the characters throughout the story were great.

Highly recommend and looking forward to more books by Cici Skye.
