His father was ready to retire and enjoy his second chance with the love of his life and he refused to hand over the reins of their mafia empire without Tynan being married and with a prospective heir on the way.
Never mind that he had adopted his cousin's son after his death and wife's subsequent suicide and the fact that he had two brothers his father could torture with the threat of marriage. But there was no way he would let his father choose his wife.
He had been watching, ok borderline stalking, Brody's new teacher especially when he swore he caught Brody's lip twitch as if to smile. So he decided that she would be his wife... regardless if that's what she wanted or not.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book has its own HEA, but this series is intended to be read in order as the characters are recurring. His sister Iseult's story is book three in the Messina Crime Family which introduces this Irish mob family and their school of assassins.
This book is action-packed and full of danger and intrigue. Tynan had never wanted anything to do with marriage. He knew personally what could happen after the Russian monster had kidnapped and tortured his mother to death.
Konstantin and his brothers are unlikely allies and I wouldn't be surprised if they get their own stories after his brothers Fionn and Cillian. If you like steamy hot mafia suspense romance with surprising twists you will love this book and series!
