The storyline from Secrets We Keep continues in The Dream Lives On. They give you a front-row seat to the true ravages of wartorn Ukraine, but there is hope in a new life, finding love and finding answers.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This story has multiple POVs as Viktor barely escapes Ukraine with his children alive and the continuing search for information on Anna's father's heritage. Along with Viktor and Anna there are several other prospectives that add depth and bring all the threads of the story together.
This book is action-packed and though there is a romance brewing and a mystery to be solved, the war in Ukraine and the fight to survive are all too real and will break your heart. Secrets We Keep didn't so much leave you with a cliffhanger as much as leave a question unanswered, so if you haven't read Secrets I would highly recommend you do so.
