Montana fights the voices trying to break through. She wants them to disappear. She made her choice. In an out of body experience, she sees her brothers' anguish and their pleas for her to wake up, but she wants it all to go away.
Instead of answering their pleas, her mind drifts to every painful event that led her to where she is now. Lying in a hospital bed in a coma.
I loved this story! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Montana lives with her three brothers, only supervised by her older brothers as their father is rarely home working on an oil rig to support them after they lost their mom at an early age.
This book is action-packed from beginning to end. This book will make you laugh and it will make you cry as Montana struggles with an impulsive nature that gets her in more trouble than her brothers would like. Add in a jealous enemy and her life is nothing but chaos. Chaos that she tried unsuccessfully to handle on her own.
Montana is a fighter, but then everything starts spiraling out of control and the pain of loss becomes too much. She just wants time to go backward and the pain to go away. Highly recommend!
