Jessica had talked her best friend, Liz, into leaving Manchester with her and moving to Radcliffe with her as partners in a bookstore. They were neither happy with their administrative jobs and thought this would be a fresh start for them both.
Since moving to Radcliffe months ago, Jessica has had recurring nightmares of being chased by a monster through the woods, high on the cliffs. Nightmares that felt more real each time she had one.
She as at The Ship talking to her best friend, Simon, who happened to manage the bar when she turns to see what caught his attention. Simon was glaring at the gorgeous man who just entered the bar.
When he asks to sit with her and introduces himself as Detective Jack Mason, she can't help but agree. She has never been so affected by a man before. After her family abandoned her after the death of her parents, she never understood the concept of being in love but she was being converted fast.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.
Jessica moved to a small town looking for a fresh start. She never in her life expected what she would find. The chemistry between Jessica and Jack is smoking hot. This book takes a shocking twist when she realizes that her boyfriend is a vampire and his twin brother a werewolf. The small town of Radcliffe is hiding secrets.
For those who don't like reading books with an HEA, this is the first book in a series that needs to be read in order.
