Max loves living in the town of Kringle. Just not that he is living with his parents. And when he announces to the family that there are invaders on the property, no one pays any attention to him, thinking it is his usual dramatic antics.
But when his parents leave him in charge of the family Christmas village, he is determined not only to prove he can take charge but also to get to the bottom of what is happening on the far side of their property.
When he learns that his nemesis is trying to replicate his family's business, he hatches a plan. What could go wrong?
Betty has made a failure of everything and when her uncle asks her to come up with a business plan, she jumps at the opportunity. Until she realizes his true intent.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Max is the total opposite of his best friend, Cole. In the extreme, but you can't help to love him, dramatics and all.
Love the narrator and Max's dialogue and Max's dramatics will keep you laughing. From the moment that Betty and Max meet it is a catastrophe. And despite Max's continued pain, I couldn't stop laughing. Max's plan to change the direction of Betty's plans backfire when she learns of his plan.
This book is action-packed, smoking hot, and laugh-out-loud hilarious. Even though this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend you start at the beginning with Cole and Storee's story. Highly recommend.
