REVIEW - ICING ON THE CAKE by Amanda Uhl

Bethany can't believe what the woman in front of her is saying. Her ex-boyfriend left, taking all her savings and the money from her parents' life insurance and she had just gotten the foreclosure notice.

Now Hank Haverill's publicist was in her restaurant, surrounded by crazy women hoping to be near him, informing her that they were in town to announce the new location of his gym, Fitaholics.

The gorgeous actor who begged her just minutes ago to hide him was now the owner of her building? An owner planning to put her family restaurant out of business?

She didn't think so!

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.

Bethany and her younger brother had been working hard since the deaths of their parents to keep their restaurant above water. It wasn't just a family restaurant started by their grandparents, but it was also where many wouldn't be fed if it wasn't for Bethany and her determination no-one go hungry.

This book is action-packed and will have you laughing from start to finish. Bethany is determined to not be taken in by another celebrity and the steam and angst will have you turning the pages. Highly recommend this rom-com.
