REVIEW - HIS CONVENIENT BRIDE by Lily Rae

Evie is staring at all the invoices in front of her when she receives a call from Eleanor Lexington. She has been planning her grandson, Dax's, wedding for the last six months.

A wedding that is scheduled for the following week.

A wedding that no longer has a bride, since she eloped with her yoga instructor.

And Eleanor wants to make a deal. She will pay for Evie's father's medical procedure, pay off the mortgage on his bakery, on top of a large sum to boost her wedding planning business.

The catch... take the runaway bride's place and marry her grandson. The gorgeous CEO who needs a wife in order to keep his position, according to the Board of Directors.

Catch two... he can never find out the terms Eleanor had given. Only that she agreed to be his fake wife for a year.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.

Evie has been planning Dax's wedding for the last six months and the bride could never make appointments so Dax would be the one she dealt with. When he would show for appointments and see the choices available, he always seemed to ask what she would choose if it were her wedding.

Evie and Dax secretly fell in love with each other during their time together. Both want the marriage to be real, but not knowing the feelings of the other. How much was real and how much was manipulated by his grandmother.

There is some repetition in thoughts that could be annoying, but I used to it and totally enjoyed the story. Highly recommend.
