Cassie never planned to get married, let alone have children. Now she had four. The oldest just turned thirteen. The age at which she came into her sexual awakening and had nightmares of Megan doing any of the things that she did at the age of thirteen.
She and Nat were finally getting into a better routine with him not being on tour as much, and then she got pregnant with their fourth child, who was six and a half months old. Being a full-time mother has pushed her career as an erotica writer to the back burner. As much as it wasn't her life plan, she loved her rock star husband and their children.
Her best friend Shawna was adopted and never felt like part of a family so Cassie is greatful for her children. She would trade off a few of her siblings, but she understood Shawna's desire to know where she came from and as support, she also took the ancestry test. She knew she was Greek and who she was related to.
Or so she thought.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book can be read as a standalone novel, but if you want to read more about Cassie and how she became a rock star's wife I highly recommend the other books in this series.
These books are written in Cassie's POV, except for the Christmas special short stories where you get an outside view into this crazy Greek family. This book will turn Cassie's life as she knows it upside down as she tries to understand the results of her ancestry test. Her crazy life is about to get crazier.
Cassie has had a lot of hurdles coming from an old-fashioned Greek family who have given her grief about her life choices her whole life and being a part-time full-time parent. I love Cassie and her inner dialogue and this is my favorite book in the series to date! Highly recommend!
