Until then, Marchello was in charge and had his hands full with Lissia Gillanti. He had kidnapped her to keep her safe, but in running away from him in the misguided thoughts it would keep him safe, she ran right back into the arms of the man she had been running from. The cruel arms dealer her father had arranged for her to marry.
I loved this continued story about Marchello and Lissia! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is not a standalone story. In order to fully understand the story you need to have first read book one, Ruthless Oath.
The Accetti and Gillanti families used to be friends until Lissia’s father betrayal against Marchello’s family sent his father into hiding. Marchello was determined to remove the head of the snake and only hoped Lissia would forgive him once she found out who killed her father.
This is a dark mafia romance full of action and danger. This book smoking hot and full of emotion as Marchello tries to save Lissia from her own impulsive actions. Can’t wait to see what happens next in their story. Highly recommend.
