REVIEW - BURNING VENGEANCE by Tricia T LaRochelle

As Natalie waits with her mother to see the doctor, she gets a Breaking News notification about an industrial fire on the other side of town. Glancing at her mother, she asks about the couple who had owned the house next door. There seemed to have been a lot of fires lately, including their gift store, which was totally destroyed the week before.

Her mother's doctor apologized for them having to wait. She was checking on her son, who had just been brought in for smoke inhalation from the warehouse fire. Leaving with an amazing report that her mom was still in remission, they noticed that another fire truck was off to an emergency.

After dropping her mother at home, Natalie called her partner in their cleaning business to confirm where she was heading. She and Yaz usually team up for new clients, but since Yaz had been out with a bad case of the flu, Natalie was nervous being by herself since it was a single man's home.
When he opened the door, she stood stunned for a second. The retired fireman who answered the door was the most gorgeous man she had ever seen. Not very friendly, but after showing her around, he disappeared so she could get to work.
She was having dinner with her mother later that week, with the man her mother had started seeing and her boyfriend, when a news report on TV announced that the police were connecting all the recent fires to the same arsonist. Turns out that her boyfriend had just signed a huge landscaping contract at the owner's home. Her mother's boyfriend was the opposite of excited and she was shocked when the fireman whose home she had cleaned was mentioned in the conversation.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Natalie and her mom couldn't believe the coincidences surrounding the fires and started their own list of suspects. It seemed everyone hated Logan and all of the fires were connected to him in some way and they hated that some of their suspects were too close to home.
This book is action-packed and full of suspense. This book will hit all your emotions as you watch the suspect list grow. This book is told in Natalie's POV, but we also get glimpses into the arsonist's mind. The coincidences keep mounting, but OMG I did not see that coming!!!
Highly recommended!
