Honeyeh needs this job. Her new boss at the restaurant isn't happy that she has no waitressing experience, but since her friend, Charlotte's husband, Mason Kincaid, owns the property, she got the job.
She and the other servers are setting up the seating for the wedding ceremony, and once the wedding is over, they have to rush to turn the space into a reception area. Brittany, one of the other servers, comments when she sees Mason and Charlotte being escorted to their seats that she wants a husband like that.
One of the other servers snipes at her about explaining her job to her prospective husband. Brittany explains that she is an escort on the side and gives her number in case she is interested in earning extra money.
When she brings a glass of wine to one of the guests, Mr. Stanley approaches her angrily, saying she hadn't directed him to a server, and tells her she isn't needed for the remainder of the night. He made sure she knew that even though he wasn't firing her because of her relationship with Mason Kincaid, he wouldn't be giving her any hours.
She became her brother's caretaker after their mother's death. He was terminally ill and in desperation, she decides to accept Tristan Smith's offer to work as a maid at his estate. Only for Tristan to offer her a job as his personal assistant.
But when the surgeon calls, telling her a transplant has been found for her brother, but she needs ten thousand dollars, she decides to sell the only thing she has of value... her virginity.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book can be read as a standalone, but this series is meant to be read in order as the characters and their stories are interrelated.
This book is action-packed, full of danger and surprising twists. This book is smoking hot and the Smith brothers are just as sexy and dangerous and the Kincaids. Can't wait to read the rest of this series. Highly recommend!
