I write later-in-life romantic comedies because somebody has to tell the truth about dating, love, hot flashes, and second chances after forty. Apparently that somebody is me.
My books are filled with small-town chaos, meddling friends, stubborn heroes, laugh-out-loud disasters, and women who are absolutely done apologizing for taking up space. They trip over their feelings, say the wrong thing at exactly the wrong moment, and somehow end up with the guy anyway. Although sometimes they wonder why they even bothered.
