Adding to these painful losses is that Soren was being held in chains. Blamed for conspiring with the attackers who turned out to be led by Soren's father, who they thought dead.
Soren, his childhood friend, his mate. His punishment is to be exiled and sent to another time. His heart was shattered because if not for his brothers needing him, he would have gone with him. Lyall vowed to Soren that he would find him.
I loved this story. It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This story can be read as a standalone, but the series is intended to be read in order as it revolves around four brother wolf shifters and other recurring characters.
This is an MM Viking wolf shifter, time-traveling romance. Even knowing what he did about his brothers, Wulfric and Anders, traveling through time for their fated mates, he was unprepared for the reality of modern NYC and that his fated mate, Soren, wouldn't recognize him.
This book is action-packed and highly entertaining as Soren takes Lyall to Viking-themed areas in NYC and even though his memories were stolen, his body remembers sword and ax fighting. Highly recommend.
