Except, the man who sent them to collect wanted her to pay off the debt.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is book one of the Bellucci Brothers series and Victoria Holliday has another fan.
Fiero Bellucci had ruled their empire after suffering at the hands of their father. Abuse that he and his brothers blamed on Pfeiffer. He has been waiting fifteen years to get his vengeance and he was looking forward to her punishment.
This is a VERY dark romance with references to abuse that is too horrible to imagine happening and will bring you to tears. This book is action-packed and full of mafia violence, but full of suspense as to what the brothers have against Pfeiffer. There are major twists and smoking hot scenes.
This is the first, but not the last, book I have read by Victoria Holliday. I can't wait to read Remo's story. If you like dark mafia romance and know the triggers that come with this genre, you will love this book! Highly recommend!
