And when Arlo passed out at Gunnar's feet after using his blood to heal his brother, the witch's barrier was down and the scent that was hidden before washed over Gunnar. He looked at Arlo in horror when he realized that he finally had found his fated mate. But, he had made a promise to Leif that he would never love another.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is the last book of the Viking Wolves series, and reading them in order will give a better understanding of this time-traveling wolf shifter series.
Gunnar had lost his family when Soren's father attacked their village. Unlike the other books in this series, Gunnar and Arlo were trying to find a way for Gunnar not to have his wolf go berserk from refusing to take the fated mate the Norm gods gave to him. But, there was a jealous witch just as determined to have Gunnar lose it all.
This is an MM time-travel, wolf shifter romance. It is action-packed, and Gunnar's story is more emotional than the previous books in the series, having lost his family, and his pain and rage could be felt throughout the series. Highly recommend.
