Sam is sitting in his office trying to rid himself of his massive hangover. The hangover that caught him once again making bad decisions as he snuck out of the house running from his enraged brother. His older brother, Sebastian, who wasn’t happy to find Sam with his two overnight guests when he returned from a family trip.
He was fairly certain that he fell into a drunken sleep while watching the two women pleasure themselves. Too drunk to join in on the fun. After spending hours chasing down the tires his brother had distributed around town, he was now looking at the spreadsheets that drove them to his bad decision.
He had inherited his grandfather’s vineyard, Sutter Creek. What was left of it after his parent’s had wrung out all they could leaving it bankrupt. He was determined to do everything he could to save the vineyard, even consider the ‘out’ clause in his grandfather’s will.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book has its own HEA, but I would suggest you read the complete series and it starts with Sebastian’s story.
This book is action-packed, full of suspense and smoking hot. Lexi and Sam grew up together running through the vines playing hide-n-seek until Sam did everything he could to make her hate him. Now he needs the last woman on Earth that would ever help him to save his grandfather's legacy.
LM Fox has done it again. This second-chance romance will wring out your heart as Sam & Lexi find their way back to each other. The playboy who feels like he’s not good enough and the woman who has to fight for respect in a man’s world. Highly recommend!
