REVIEW - NASHVILLE DREAMS by Julie Capulet

Kade hates more than anything making a woman cry.  So much that he has put off the inevitable for way too long because he knows that his girlfriend Carmen is going to go ballistic when he finally tells her how he really feels.

Their father had made it a habit of making their mother cry giving him an aversion to seeing a woman sad - especially by him.  This aversion has made him avoid relationships, but the rare ones he gets in always start with him hoping he has found 'the one'.  That's his dream...reality is much different.

Since Carmen wasn't picking up on the vibes, he was going to have to break things off with her and deal with all the tears and drama that will follow.  He knew from the beginning he wasn't in love with her but thought it would change.  Now she's talking rings and moving in together and all he wants is for this to be over fast with no histrionics.

Stella needs to make a change.  Although her adoptive parents have never been anything but loving and supportive, Stella has always felt like an outsider.  Her eyes are bright green and her parents and younger sisters were brown.  Her father was a dean at Princeton and wanted her to follow in his footsteps and get a degree in economics and teach at the college, but she doesn't want to teach she wants to write novels.

Her parents also loved Theo who taught a Russian literary class at the college.  Although she has dated him and likes him as a friend there just isn't any chemistry.  The stuff of romance novels that she feels is just that fiction.  When Theo shocks her and proposes it is the final push that she needs to begin her journey of self-discovery.

She had already told her dad that instead of going for her master's she is taking a break.  What she didn't tell him was that she was going to look for her birth parents.  She had just received a letter from the adoption agency and her search begins in Nashville.

Stella is standing in the pouring rain and no one is answering the door to the airbnb she reserved.  Then she notices a huge man standing behind her.  Underneath his cowboy hat, she notices he's wearing sunglasses.   Who wears sunglasses in the pouring rain?  Getting mugged would just be the topping she needed for her horrific day.  Until he lifts his glasses and all she can think is even in his rugged masculinity he is just stunningly handsome.

It seems like I have been waiting forever for Kade's story and it was so worth the wait.  Travis and Vaughn were amazing and how could she ever top Vaughn's romantic gestures with a helicopter?  I'm sorry Vaughn, but your older brother is called the Magic Man for a reason!

This book is action-packed from beginning to end and I couldn't put the book down once I started.  Kade knew the second that he set eyes on Stella in the pouring rain that he had finally found his Unicorn Girl.  After spending an hour in her company he knew that he wasn't letting her go.  She was his.

This book is steamy hot and Kade doesn't need a bedroom to show Stella what it is all about.  I will never look at a mechanical bull again without picturing Kade.  Julie Capulet gives you all the feels in this book.  Passion, rage, a bit of crazy, but full of love.  Highly highly recommend this book and series!

I fell in love with Julie Capulet with Rafe and she just keeps giving me reasons to come back for more!
