AUDIOBOOK REVIEW - SOME CALL IT DEVOTION by Sarah Peis narrated by Mia Madison

Another excellent book narrated by Mia Madison!  Mia's narration brought this story to life and I felt like I was sitting on a couch in their living room and part of this tight group of friends.  Her voice is very expressive and you could feel the eye rolls and other gestures throughout this story.  I would definitely recommend Mia Madison as a narrator.

BOOK REVIEW:

Kinsley is gaping at the clerk in front of her.  She is at the courthouse with her fiance Henry when she is told that she can't get a marriage license because she is already married.  Say what?

Luckily, her fiance has been on the phone the entire time and didn't hear this piece of news.  He didn't even seem to realize they were leaving without getting the license they were there for.

Eleven months ago she had gotten drunk in Las Vegas, such a surprise, and ended up getting married to a guy she had only known for a few hours.  When they woke to find themselves married Landon had promised to take care of it.

Now she has to locate Landon before Henry realizes that she is already married!  When Landon hadn't returned any of her calls after leaving Vegas she had deleted his number from her phone.  Luckily, she remembered that he had been there for a classic car show with the garage he worked for.  So she got on the first flight out of Los Angeles and headed for Denver with divorce papers in hand.

Only when she arrives in Humptulips Landon refuses to sign the papers.

I absolutely love this story!  It is very well written and Mia Madison was awesome bringing this story to life.  We first meet Kinsley and Landon in the novella Worship and although this book can be read as a standalone novel I would suggest reading/listening to Worship first.

This book is hilarious from start to finish!  I love Kinsley and Landon.  Landon is calm, but very determined to make Kinsley realize that he knew what he had been doing in Vegas and had no plans in getting a divorce.  Kinsley was having a hard time letting go of her ten-year plan and admitting she was right where she was meant to be.

Of all the books in this series, I have to say it has been my favorite.  Brielle is such a loveable pain in the backside as younger siblings seem to be, but she definitely needed to grow up.  All of the previous couples in this series are back and active participants in the continued story the residents of Humptulips, a small town outside of Denver.

This book is steamy hot and you will fall in love with everyone in this town!  This is a very close knit group of friends that love and support each other even as they try to escape Willa's pranks.

Highly recommend this book and can't to read more of this series!
