REVIEW - WAR OF THE SEA by Dana Claire

Her enemy's blade was at her throat forcing her gaze to his and demanding she remove the hat on her head. Her enemy, Captain Rylander Bordeaux, wasn't surprised as her hair tumbled down her back as he had been searching for her.

Rylander was known as the Emperor of the Ocean and the youngest captain of the largest ship in the Caviar Sea. That was until Captain Elouise Farrington inherited the title the year before at the death of her father.

Murdered by the man currently standing before her with an offer to join forces in order to end the War of the Sea. They needed her ship manned by women since they were immune to the call of the sirens of the sea.

I loved this book. It is well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. The King refused Lou's request that she get her vengeance for the death of her father when the war was won but did agree that Rye would be at her mercy for one year.

This book is action-packed from page one as these pirates fight for control of the sea that the sirens are terrorizing. It is steamy hot and takes you on an exciting journey that has a few twists and surprises along the way.

If you like pirates and mystical mermaids you will love this story.

WAR OF THE SEA is book one of the OLYMPIAN WARS Series
