REVIEW - SECRET SANTA by Ainsley St Claire

Cora is standing in front of her sister's door trying to convince herself that she can do it. She works at Clear Security and has years of FBI experience behind her. Being her sister's maid of honor should be a piece of cake. But that doesn't mean she isn't going to try to talk her out of having the wedding & reception in Colorado instead of San Francisco. Just the thought of a Christmas wedding in Aspen let alone a reception at their family farm sounds like a nightmare in the making. They haven't even been home in years. Is the barn even habitable for anything other than their cattle?

Beckett is surprised when Cora arrives for her visit at the ranch. Not about the visit. He is the ranch's manager and was expecting her, but he was expecting a much older woman... not the young gorgeous woman standing before him.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Cora can handle a gun and hack into anything, but helping her sister plan her wedding is just plain terrifying. It doesn't help matters when she arrives at their family ranch to find the barn with a hole in the roof, but maybe with the help of their secret ranch manager, they can make it happen.

Beckett is in hiding and the more he spends time with Cora the more he worries about his past catching up.

This book is action-packed, full of danger and corruption. This smoking-hot romance has a touch of John Clancy danger and suspense that will keep you turning the pages as you learn more about Beckett's past and who wants him and his Marine team dead.

This is the first book I have read by Ainsley St Claire, but she has definitely been added to my one-click list! Highly recommend!
