Sarah is desperate for a job. Any job that will keep her from living on the streets. Which is why she is nervously waiting for her interview to be a nanny. The only drawback is that the child's father is a mob boss and unlike she stated on her application she has no experience with children.
This is a short story so it moves pretty fast. Sarah has aged out of the system and is desperate for a job, but can't decide if her trembling when she is near her new boss is fear or desire.
Matteo knows that the new nanny isn't being honest, but his daughter loves her on sight and despite himself, he finds ways to spend more time with his daughter just to be near her.
