REVIEW - BREAKING PERFECT by Lydia Michaels

Liberty is compulsively OCD and literally has a breakdown if everything isn't perfect.  Everything has it's place.  She has the same routine down to the second each day.  Sex only on Fridays and in the pitch dark, but she is suddenly having highly erotic fantasies and finds herself masturbating in private because she doesn't want her husband knowing about her evil desires.

Mason is a trauma surgeon and loves his wife Liberty and does everything he can to make sure that she is happy.  He has gotten used to her quirks and when he sees that she is on the verge of having an episode he will give her tasks to focus on.  He hides his passion from her scared that his desires will push her over the edge.

Then his past arrives on his doorstep.  A secret that he hasn't yet told his wife in fear of her having a breakdown.  Sean his past partner.  His former lover who had walked out on him thirteen years ago because he couldn't tell his abusive father he loved another man.

This book is very well written and Lydia Michaels draws you into Liberty's struggles to be perfect.  Her determination to have everything perfect stemmed from childhood trauma along with trying to prove herself good enough for her mother's love.

Mason tries to let Liberty know that he loves her regardless of her quirks but realizes what she needs to stay sane and makes sure she gets it.  Even when she admits she is attracted to their houseguest.  But can he keep her from spiraling if she finds out his secret?

Sean and Mason have never been interested in other men, only each other.  His father has just past away and he did his best to live up to his expectations.  His worst regret was walking away from the only person who had ever loved him.

Mason, Liberty, and Sean have an intense relationship full of discovery and not only admitting their desires but in self-acceptance.

This is an MMF D/s with explicitly erotic sex scenes.  It is action-packed and gives you all the feels.  I highly recommend this book!
