Liberty is compulsively OCD and literally has a breakdown if everything isn't perfect. Everything has it's place. She has the same routine down to the second each day. This book is very well written and Lydia Michaels draws you into Liberty's struggles to be perfect. Her determination to have everything perfect stemmed from childhood trauma along with trying to prove herself good enough for her mother's love.
Mason tries to let Liberty know that he loves her regardless of her quirks but realizes what she needs to stay sane and makes sure she gets it. Even when she admits she is attracted to their houseguest. But can he keep her from spiraling if she finds out his secret?
Sean and Mason have never been interested in other men, only each other. His father has just past away and he did his best to live up to his expectations. His worst regret was walking away from the only person who had ever loved him.
Mason, Liberty, and Sean have an intense relationship full of discovery and not only admitting their desires but in self-acceptance.
