REVIEW - THE BILLIONAIRE by Marni Mann

Jenner is at dinner when a gorgeous woman walks past and his companion jokes about how many women Jenner has seen under their skirts and how long it will take him to talk her into the restroom.  But despite his playboy reputation, this is one client he wouldn't leave at the table.  His major client.  Walter Spade was a hotel mogul and had made Jenner a billionaire handling the legal details of his 26 hotels throughout the world.

Knowing Jenner's extensive traveling, Walter wants Jenner's input on the next location. What are younger people looking for when they travel.  What would be Jenner's favorite place to escape.  And his surprise answer is Utah.

Jenner is at the sportsbook with his brothers and friends for their annual trip to Las Vegas for March Madness.  As they are bemoaning their team needing more points a young woman takes the seat one of his brothers just vacated to go to the restroom.  Even realizing that she is easily ten years his junior he can't take his eyes off the raven-haired beauty.  And when she starts talking basketball stats he is lost.

Joanna is in Las Vegas for the week with her best friends when she takes a detour on the way to get drinks.  She is having a blast flirting with Jenner when he asks her to his room.  Since she's in Vegas she figures 'why not? no one knows her here and she'll never see him again.  After all, he lives in LA and she's from Miami.

I loved this book!  It is very well written and all of the characters are fully developed and relatable.  This is not your usual get drunk in Las Vegas and wake up married.  They are in Vegas and wake up, but for once Jenner isn't interested in a one-night-stand and he and Jo spend the week together.  At the end of the week, they never expect to see each other again.

I love the close relationship Jenner has with his brothers.  They are all lawyers working at their parent's law firm and have a very tight bond.  Monica is the sister that Jo wishes she had and they had bonded immediately being roommates in college.

This book is action-packed and full of laughter.  Jo has a secret that gives their story an unexpected twist.  This is the first time I've read anything by Marni Mann, but I will definitely be reading more in the future!

Highly recommend this steamy hot romance!
