Lia and Leo had a complicated relationship. They were roommates with separate rooms who slept with each other, but her father is the president of the MC club where Leo is a prospect. They are keeping their convenient relationship a secret from everyone because not only would her father kill Leo, but neither was looking for a relationship.
Leo's brother had cost him almost everything. The bank foreclosed on the auto shop because of Tim's addiction to drugs. Luckily, the MC club bought the building and he was able to pay rent to keep his business. Now he finds out that his brother has disappeared and put his home up for bond.
Lia had only been in Florida just over a year in order to finally get to know her father. She is the first business in the strip mall attached to the auto shop and she is hoping soon that her doggie daycare will be a full-service facility. She is just arriving to open Leo's shop when she sees a gorgeous man waiting. A bondsman looking for Leo's brother.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed. Lia knows what she wants and is not scared to reach out and take it, but when it comes to Leo what she wants is confusing. Leo is easy-going until he realizes that he may lose everything...his business, his home, and more importantly Lia.
This book is action-packed, full of danger, and smoking hot. The storyline kept my attention from page one with a few twists. I love Lia and Leo! I know that Josh isn't part of the MC crew, but I sure hope he's going to get his own story!
Highly recommend both this book and Chelle Bliss! This is my first time reading this author, but definitely won't be the last!
