REVIEW - NEVER MARRY YOUR BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND by Lauren Landish

Carter enters his office and throws Cameron's report on his desk. As he is angrily pacing his office, still stewing over his meeting with his brother and father, his best friend, Zack, enters his office like he owns it.

And the worst part is that his older brother's proposal is brilliant. And that is the root of all his animosity. He can never live up to his older brother, Cameron, the golden child.

Zack tells him that instead of pouting about a done deal, he just needs a deal of his own, which is why he stopped by. He heard a widow was looking for a portfolio manager and tells Carter the art collection alone ranges in the eight figures.

And better yet, Zack's was volunteering his sister to get him in the door. Luna knows art and Zack plans to use his brotherly blackmailing tactics to get her to teach Carter about art.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is a standalone novel with its own HEA, but the series of books have interconnecting characters so plan to get hooked on the complete series.

Carter works alongside his oldest brother at their father's investment firm. Always feeling like he had to work harder for his father's approval, he hires his best friend's sister, Luna, to tutor him in art history to help him gain a major client. But when he realizes he can't learn what is needed overnight, he asks her to be his fake wife instead.

Luna works at the museum giving tours about the art collection and its history, but she is an artist at heart. She has worked in all mediums, but the graphic novel she started in high school is where she pours out her heart. When her brother invites her to dinner, her choice... she tells him her favorite bookstore cafe. When she sees who Zack invited to dinner, she adds more books to the stack she had already handed him.

When he tells her that they need her to tutor Carter in everything art, her answer is NO. Definitely not. Only when she finds out whose art collection he is talking about, she has a change of heart.

This book is action-packed and laugh-out-loud hilarious. I love a smoking hot fake relationship and Lauren Landish didn't disappoint. I fell in love with all the characters in the book and loved Carter and Luna's love-hate relationship. Oh, the lies that we weave. Highly recommend.
