Vivian had just fired one of her employees who thought giving away free food to her friends was okay. Now she was running the diner that her grandmother had left her with a newbie server and a cook who was too drunk to work most days.
When the gorgeous man, covered in tattoos, sat at the bar, Vivian had a hard time remembering that she was done with men after divorcing her husband who made a habit of cheating on her.
When he heard she needed help, he asked if he could apply. Her grandmother had always told her that everyone deserved a second chance and bad boy bikers had always been her downfall.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.
This book is action-packed from cover to cover. Cillian is on parole, but when his best friend's daughter, Chloe, is kidnapped by the very MC club that had him sent to prison, agrees to put everything on the line to get the child back.
For those who have triggers, Chloe's kidnapping and the Dragons' intent to sell the seven-year-old at auction, along with other minors, so beware. Cillian was able to keep their plans from happening, but the trauma of the experience is there.
This second-chance MC romance is full of danger and smoking hot. Savage and his story Savage Heat should be read before this book as they are interconnected with a continued backstory. Highly recommend!
