REVIEW - ALL IN by Ashley Jade

This is the final book of The Complicated Parts Series.  Fold and Bluff need to be read first.

In the previous books we find that Kit and Preston began as enemies when they found out that Becca was cheating.  On both of them and that she was carrying Preston's child.  Becca was destroyed because she thought she had finally found the love she had been craving since her parents died when she was eight.  When her grandmother realized that Kit liked girls she punished her, but Kit was determined that her grandmother wouldn't win and held on to her belief that she was gay and refused to conform.

Preston received the paternity test that he wasn't the father to Becca's baby and had just arrived at the college cafeteria to tell Kit when they are held hostage by a madman determined to kill them as revenge against Preston's brother Asher and Kit's best friend Breslin.  Kyle was enraged that Asher chose Breslin.  Kyle wasn't aware that his real revenge would have been Landon who was in a relationship with both Kyle and Breslin.

Kit and Preston had formed a connection the night on the bridge which solidified the day of the shooting and Preston was determined to get Becca out of Kit's life even knowing it would break her heart and make her hate him.

When Kit's grandmother told her that unless she got married...and to a man...that her inheritance would be left to her uncle.  The uncle Kit suspected of having her parents killed.  When Kit ran into Preston in Vegas as he was being threatened at gunpoint she knew the answer to both their problems.

Preston has been lying to everyone and if Kit finds out his secrets she won't just be mad at him because it will destroy her.

I absolutely loved Kit and Preston's story!  It has an amazing storyline that will make you laugh and cry.  This series has abuse, deeply guarded secrets, betrayal, deadly obsessions, self discovery and addiction.   All the characters are fully developed and relatable, even the vile ones.

Kit has held onto her beliefs since puberty and her journey of self discovery was a hard road as she fought it til the end.  I feel Ashley Jade did an excellent job in portraying Kit's sexuality issues not making it as if Preston "changed" her.  He accepted all parts of her.  Kit's determination to stand by her beliefs was inspiring.

Preston is gorgeous with a bad attitude and secrets.  Preston's secrets will bring you to your knees.  I cried so much for his pain and suffering from childhood through to Becca's manipulating him to get her way.  His gambling addiction roots from his determination to have control.  Until Kit it was the only way to keep his monsters at bay and keep his sanity.

I love the bonds and deep friendships throughout this series and hope that Asher, Breslin and Logan get their story told.  This book and series is action-packed from cover to cover.  It will take you on a journey with many twists and turns along the way.

This series is the first time I've read Ashley Jade, but it definitely won't be the last.  The depth of emotion she brought to these characters and the outstanding storyline will keep me coming back for more!  Highly recommend!
