AUDIOBOOK REVIEW - EDGE OF REASON narrated by Teena Scott & Dom Jonson

If you haven't heard a book narrated by Teena Scott & Dom Jonson you are missing out.

Teena has a wide range of vocalizations from a young woman with a Texan drawl to a woman of age with an attitude.

Dom's voice is just sex on a stick...whatever, you get my point.  His deep sexy voice catches the character of the men of these books wonderfully.

Teena and Dom have a unique narrating style where they don't read separate chapters as most POV books are written.  Instead of Teena reading the woman's POV and trying to fake a male voice, Dom will speak the parts of the male characters.  So whenever a female voice or the heroine speaks you will hear Teena and same for Dom he speaks for all the male characters.

I love how Teena and Dom interact together in the scenes of the book and whether it be the male or female POV you can hear the other in the background with their comments or moans. They make the listening experience complete.

Book Review:
Edge feels like a stalker as he pushes his cart through the grocery store.  He rationalizes it as he needs to get groceries so why not go at the same time Kealy does her shopping.  But the truth is he HAS been stalking the drop dead gorgeous nurse for the last two years.  Wanting to make sure she was safe.

Even at his imposing height of 6'5" he didn't have a problem getting a woman.  As Sergeant at Arms at the Rebel Chasers MC Club women flock to him like he was giving stuff away.  But, he wasn't interested because they weren't her.

On top of being the owner of Needles Edge tattoo shop Edge was handsome with a dangerous edge with his motorcycle and attire.  But here he is shopping and trying to not be obvious that he is following Kealy around the store.

When he feels a hand on his shoulder he knows by her scent who it is before turning around.  Kealy jokes about what a small town it is that she seems to run into Edge everywhere.  When Edge gets a look into Kealy's cart he is horrified with her food choices.

Edge eats a very healthy diet as he is determined not to look like some of the older men in the club with their beer bellies.  So he gets a great idea and asks to shop alongside her.  But, when she starts putting more processed food in her cart Edge tells her he'll help her cook dinner when she tells him that she can't cook.

A few months ago Kealy would have never approached a man the size of Edge, but he is like a hawk and can sense when he makes any movements that may be considered threatening and is careful of when around her.

Her ex is now serving a prison term for beating her half to death.  When the photographs taken by the hospital were presented at court he couldn't no longer deny his abuse.

Edge looks like a Viking with his long hair with its shaved sides that he pulls into a haphazard bun when it's not down.  She about swoons every time she hears his deep baritone voice.  And forget looking at him.  He is 6'5" with a muscular body covered in tattoos.  She has a hard time not drooling when looking into his dark eyes.

She doesn't know why she feels safe in Edge's presence.  He is the only man besides her gay roommate Brad that she can be near without having a panic attack.  And when she hears that her ex is getting out of prison she is glad that Edge is around to protect her.

I loved this book.  It is very well written and drew me in immediately.  I loved the chemistry between Kealy and Edge.  Kealy is understandably leery of men after what happened to her.  Edge just shows that you can't judge by appearances.  He may be a massive biker, but he will do anything to keep Kealy safe and protected.

Highly recommend this book!
