REVIEW - CONFESSIONS OF A BOSSY PROTECTOR by CN Marie

Easton finally put his gaming console aside and rushed out to pick up his sister Callie who he was thirty minutes late picking up.  When he and his best friend Phoenix can't find her anywhere he knows the call coming in from his mom isn't good.  Callie had been mugged and it was all his fault.

Five years later Easton is sitting in an orientation planning meeting at Preston University.  He is a psychology student going into his senior year and his friends keep telling him he needs to start thinking about his own future and stop worrying about everyone else.  But, being a protector is all he can do to make up for his mistakes.

When he gets back to the frat house that he shares with his best friends all he wants to do is crawl in bed to sleep, but is awakened only to find out they planned a trip behind his back for a trip to Las Vegas.  He knows something is up when everyone insists that he go through security first and when he is pulled aside to be frisked he notices his friends trying to keep a straight face.  When asked to unpack his carry on he was mortified to find a solid silver butt plug.  He knew Phoenix packing his bag was a mistake.

Aubree had never been so torn.  She had received acceptances letters from both her mother's Alma mater and her choice of Preston University.   A college her parents would be heartbroken to know she applied to because in their minds she was always going to Saint Alexis University.  Now she just had to break the news to her family.  They were already having a panic attack that she was leaving in the morning for a trip to Las Vegas with her best friends for a two-week trip before they each left for separate colleges.

I loved this book!  It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and very relatable.  This is an insta-love romance.  Easton has taken the world on his shoulders watching over his mom, sister and his friends.  It is a compulsion that has taken over his life to the point that his friends step in and tell him it's time for him to focus on himself.

Aubree's mother has some real issues and I'm glad that Aubree stood up to her parents with her choice of college.  She definitely needed some breathing room before she totally lost control of her life.  I really loved the bond between all these friends.  They are very close-knit and supportive of each other.

Easton and Aubree see sparks the second they run into each other and their whirlwind romance is smoking hot.  I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more by CN Marie!
