REVIEW - RIGHT MAN RIGHT TIME by Meghan Quinn

Silas was in the elevator excitedly talking to his friend Pacey, one of his Vancouver Agitators teammates. The hockey team had just returned from a road trip and he was excited to see his girlfriend. He has been dating Sarah since high school and he has just picked out the perfect ring. The only reason they had this huge penthouse apartment was that Sarah wanted it. She enjoyed all the perks of dating a professional hockey player except the travel time.

It is silent when he comes into the penthouse, but looks at the black lace bra discarded on the kitchen counter in confusion. Sarah has never worn anything this sexy and only wears nude-colored bra and panties.

He hears a faint noise in their bedroom only to open the door in shock. Sarah is in bed with a woman and there is a naked man sitting nearby watching them. It turns out that she has been seeing them for over four months and this isn't the first time she has cheated on him.

He gives her an hour to grab her stuff and get out. When she protests he tells her to either pack up and leave or he was taking his name off the lease and she could pay the exorbitant rent and he was no longer going to support her and her expensive designer lifestyle.

Ollie and her friend Ross are clicking shot glasses together as they bemoan the worst paid internship ever. She and Ross had hit it off in their freshman year and have been best friends since. They just found out that they wouldn't be receiving their college credit for the summer internship until the school year began. Not only was the professor a nightmare, but she had to deal with her nemesis Candice.

They are both dreading opening the envelopes in their hands with their final writing assignments so they decide to break the news to each other and exchange envelopes. Ross is excited when she tells him he is to write about 'fall fashion must-haves'. When Ross looks from her envelope to her and then back to the envelope she can tell it isn't good news.

She looks at her assignment in dismay. They had to have mixed up assignments with someone else because she was to write about...hockey. A sport she knows absolutely nothing about. Then Candace appears and drops the bomb that she was the one who picked their topics. If that wasn't enough, Candace looks over Ollie's shoulder and wants them to meet her new boyfriend. Ollie's ex-boyfriend of two years who broke up with her at the beginning of summer because he needed to focus on his career.

So what was a girl to do? She lies and says that she is having the best sex of her life with her new boyfriend and when Candace calls her on it she looks around and heads for the first man she sees to be her fake boyfriend.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Although this is a standalone novel and not part of a series there are many characters who have their own stories that bind them all together.

Whenever Ollie opens her mouth you never know what she is going to say to Silas's horror. I almost choked laughing when she was describing how they met. Donkey pervert...hilarious.

Silas is very close to his teammates but even they don't know what happened between him and Sarah two years ago and he is sitting at the bar getting drunk when the news came out that the hockey team had just hired Sarah to work in their promotions department. Two can play the fake date game. Ollie needs his help and he expects her to return the favor.

This book is action-packed from front to back and has all the feels. You will laugh at Ollie's antics, cry when their worlds implode because of lies and misunderstandings. This book is also smoking hot with tons of explicit sexual chemistry.

Highly recommend!
