***Synopis***

This book is different to my other books, which is why I decided to publish it under the name J. Capulet, instead of Julie Capulet.

Beautiful Savages is written in the third person narrative and is a fun rom-com with five love stories in one and a murder mystery twist!

What is the sub-genre and trope? 

This one is a little bit of a genre-bender! It’s a rom-com so has elements of humor, romance and also mystery.

I know that we aren’t supposed to have “favorites” as far as our children, but seriously, who’s your favorite character and why?

This book is about five siblings who each get their own love story. I loved all five of them but I think Apollo was probably my favorite to write because he was so out of control but then falls hard and is willing to do absolutely anything to prove himself.

His character arc goes through some fairly drastic changes and I fell in love with him as I was writing the book.

I also loved Wyatt, Athena’s love interest. He was an easy character to write because he was so sure of the person he was and landed fully-formed in my head.

What scene in this book sticks out the most for you?  Why?

I had fun with all five storylines and it was a new challenge to keep the reader guessing about the mystery that was weaved in to the five separate love stories.

I didn’t want to give it away, of course, so had to give each storyline not only enough conflict to keep the love stories interesting, but also clues about who the killer/victim was.
