Between working and college, Tatum didn't have a social life as her best friend Penny likes to point out. Guys don't even ask her out although there was one guy...the one with the panty-dropping smile. She knew when Trysten took her to a sports bar it wasn't going to be a great date. She wasn't a snob, but she was not the sports bar type of girl.
Tatum was returning from the restroom only to find her date getting a hand job by their server and decided she had had enough. But when she was getting ready for bed that night she couldn't stop thinking about his breathtaking kiss and decided to take him up on his offer. She wasn't looking for a relationship with him...just a night to remember.
Only he wasn't the one to answer the door and when she saw the discarded shirt of their waitress she turned around in mortification, but his roommate Ethan was determined to make sure she got home safely. Ethan...now he was more her type.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Although I generally like books written in dual POV this book was perfect being told only in Tatum's POV.
I think that Tatum is the most relatable character I have read in ages as our stories paralleled in so many ways. I could truly feel her pain and feelings of betrayal. This book is action-packed and full of twists and turns. There is so much I want to say about this story, but they would all lead to major spoilers.
If you want a smoking hot romance full of suspense, danger and action this is definitely a book for you. This book has a happily ever after, but Tatum has to fight to get it.
Highly recommend!
