REVIEW - FINDING STARLIGHT by Shannon Nikole

Ellawyn had been planning her escape for the last year and she was finally ready to disappear.  She was leaving Maine behind and moving the a small town in Pennsylvania that is perfect for her to hide from her prison of abuse.

Beckett felt guilty as he boarded his flight.  His grandfather had asked if he could come visit and he realized that he hadn't spent much time with him in the last two years as he built his business.  And now his grandfather is telling him he has a tumor and needs him to watch over Starlight Books while he is going through treatments.

I loved this story!  It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable.  Shannon Nikole really brought these characters to life.  Benji is the grandfather everyone dreams of having and you can almost smell the books and Benji's cookies coming through the pages.

Ellawyn found a haven at Starlight Books where she could sit undisturbed with her sketchpad for hours.  Beckett knew the second he laid eyes on Ellawyn that she was something special.

This is a small-town romance and although it is sweet and romantic, it is also full of danger and suspense.  This book has all the feels as we not only deal with Ellawyn and the threat against her, but also Benji in the fight of his life.

Highly recommend this book and looking forward to the next book in the series.
