Maureen has just received another rejection letter. She was a physical therapist and her boss's wife had come storming into the office yelling at her about having an affair with her husband not giving Maureen a chance to explain that she had broken up with him as soon as she found out he was married.
And then she demanded that Maureen be fired and now all she is getting are rejection letters. Her douchebag boss is blackballing her.
Her best friend was an entertainer for a cruise line and called her to tell her that they needed a fitness trainer for their next cruise. And then Heidi tells her that she applied for the position under her name and got the job.
Dylan was a professional hockey player and at another boring party. He played, practiced, hung with teammates, wash, rinse and repeat. He didn't even know why he was at the party and needed to take stock of his life.
When his best friend and teammate Alex found him outside sitting by the pool, he was reminded that he had agreed to go on a cruise with Alex, his wife and another teammate. Maybe getting away was just what he needed.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is the final book in the multi-author Love at Seas series and I am so sad that the cruise has ended. All of the books are interconnected by the cruise and our special traveler Gertrude. You also get tidbits and clues about the other couples in the series even if they are just at a glance.
This book is action-packed from page one and I really hated when I finished the book not only because I fell in love with Maureen & Dylan but because it meant that the cruise was over. If you are looking for a steamy hot read look no further! This is the second book that I have read by A.M. Williams and I was not disappointed! Highly recommend!
