REVIEW - BILLIONAIRE LUMBERJACK'S BABY by Gwyn McNamee

Laurel can't believe that she has been at the job for less than a week and she is traveling up the mountain in a raging storm. The rain is coming down so hard that the driver can barely see to avoid the huge holes in the rough muddy track they are on. This is not what she signed up for when she joined the legal team for the huge brewery.

The driver started honking the car's horn explaining to her that the owner of the brewery they were going to see didn't like uninvited visitors and it was to let him know they were from Lockwood. If the weather and the circumstances weren't enough to upset her the huge soaking-wet man wearing no shirt and with a threatening ax raised over his head definitely told her she was not having a good day.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book is so emotional I cried through most of it. Wells is the most broken man I have ever read about. The loss of his wife and daughter and his destructive thoughts are heartbreaking. And to throw in the news that Laurel has been tasked to deliver just adds to the emotion.

Wells was so damaged from the death of his wife that I didn't see how a relationship with Laurel would be possible, but I was so happy that he finally got a happy ending. Highly recommend, but have the Kleenex handy.
