Carly couldn't believe she had wasted two thousand dollars on this seminar on the secret of being a goddess and taking control of their future. When the speaker flipped the screen the words TREAT HIM LIKE A GOD stared her in the face. The woman went on to say that the secret to being dependent depended on a man. She had treated her ex-husband like a god only to have a woman show up at her door demanding she leave the crystal when she got divorced.
She followed a mumbling woman out the door as she totally agreed. Never again would she put a man before herself or her dreams.
I loved this book. It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Carly, Lucie, Savannah and Tessa found an instant bond after walking out of an empowerment seminar determined to support each other as they found their inner goddess and proved that they didn't need a man to get there.
This book is the prequel to the series and a lead into Carly's story Frenemies and Lovers. I can't wait to see these women find their goddess within and their continuing friendship. Highly recommend.
