REVIEW - FALLING FOR THE ENEMY by Lydia Michaels

Soren Hawthorne was smiling politely at his date while mentally going through the checklist that he had for what he wanted in a wife. Until recently, marriage had been a future thought for him, but now that his oldest brother was expecting his first child, Soren was on the hunt because he had always wanted his children and those of his brothers to be close in age.

Olivia met all his requirements on paper. As the CEO of Hawthorne Fishery he needed a wife of the same social status, poised, cultured, educated and indifferent to his billionaire status. But beyond that, he was indifferent to her charms.

His Friday nights had turned more into a wife interview than dating and no one, despite being a perfect candidate, kept his interest. But there was only one woman who had his attention for the last eighteen months and was the total opposite of what he pictured a wife to look like.

Jocelyn Collins was a mess without a filter who was a best-selling author of erotic Viking romance. And his nemesis since the third grade. So why couldn't he get her out of his system?

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book has its own HEA, but this series is intended to be read in order as the stories are interconnected and the characters are recurring.

This book is action-packed, full of angst, spicy hot and will keep you laughing. I love Cordelia and King who may be pets, but they have a huge impact all on their own. Just when you think they have things figured out, everything falls apart.

This story ends with a happily-ever-after, but ends with a huge twist. Can't wait for Logan's story!

Highly recommend!
