Kyle gets a call from Wayne, who heads the crew on their new custom pool and landscaping job, saying he needs to get to the job site as there seems to be an issue with parking and just laughs at him when he says he'll be there in twenty.
Twenty minutes later, he finds himself behind a long line of work trucks of all sizes trying to enter the small residential street. When he is finally able to grab a space in front of the home they are doing the renovation on, he can't believe the line of trucks still behind him.
Now he has a pissed-off neighbor telling him to move his truck, as he is blocking traffic. He had no idea when taking this job that he would be walking into the middle of a war zone. He knew his new client was going to be hard to work with, but had no idea her massive backyard makeover was more to inconvenience her neighbor so she would move out of the neighborhood.
Dani ran a home-based, to-go lunch business and her neighbor was determined to get rid of her. She has tried her best to have Dani's business closed down and when City Hall and none of her other efforts had panned out she decided to do a backyard renovation which meant the work trucks blocked access to the men trying to get their order.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This series is intended to be read in order even though each book has its own HEA. The series revolves around siblings and reading the full series gives you a full insight into their characters and family relationships.
This book is action-packed, full of angst, steamy hot and will keep you laughing because we all know of that one pain in the a$$ neighbor who tries to make everyone's life a living hell.
