Palmer can't believe that she is dancing with Brooks Kincaid. His older brother Orrin is her brother's best friend so Brooks and his other eight brothers have been a constant in her life. She has had a crush on him since she was eleven years old and stuck in a tree trying to get her brother's attention. There was a huge age gap between them and she was jealous of the time he was spending with his friends and her plan to get his attention backfired when she realized how high up she was and almost fell out of the tree.
Now, years later, they were attending her best friend Ramsey's engagement party and even though Brooks had grabbed her to avoid Ramsey's cousin Jackie's attention, she would take anything she could get. Especially when he tells Jackie that all of his dances were reserved for her.
Brooks was at the Willow Tavern when he overhears the girl's conversation as the guys were approaching their booth and Palmer admitting that she hadn't had a orgasm...a problem he sets out to take care of.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. There are many secondary characters in this book...he has eight brothers, after all! But instead of being overwhelmed it just gave the story tons more depth as this family is fully invested in each other's lives.
We have nine brothers (in order), Orrin, Declan, Brooks, Sterling, Rushton, Archer, Ryder and the twins, Maverick and Merrick and we can't forget the adorable Blakely who has them all wrapped around her small finger.
I love how these brothers egg each other on, but you know it is all done with love and especially love Ramsey's "you've got to choose" game that continues through this series.
This book is action-packed, full of romance, laughter and steamy hot chemistry. I really hated reading the last page as I felt like part of the story. Can't wait to see what this author has in store for the rest of these brothers. Highly recommend!
