The Torskethorpe Daily reports that they sat down with Her Royal Highness, Princess Lilija and the soon-to-be Prince, Keller Fitzwilliam about their engagement, their loving relationship and the future of Torskethorpe.
He throws the paper down in disgust. Over his dead body would Keller Fitzwilliam rule Torskethorpe.
Lilly feels like she is living a surreal fairytale. One day she is in Miami selling bathing suits out of a truck while wearing a bikini when she is approached by Keller and told that she was the last heir to a throne of a country called Torskethorpe.
Keller is King Theodore's private secretary and his job was to retrieve Lilly along with educating her on the country and their culture. Her future husband, a large domineering presence who is always working, always assisting the king and always nagging her about decorum and the inappropriate things that fly out of her mouth.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Lilly has no filter to Keller's dismay. Lilly is an open book...about everything. Keller is an up-tight, by-the-book, headstrong man who curls Lilly's toes with his expertise in the bedroom and she is happy to share that information with anyone...even her grandfather the king.
This book is action-packed and filled with danger and intrigue, but Lilly will keep you laughing. Keller is an alpha male in all ways who feels out of control and that he is marrying above himself and not wanting to disappoint a king that adopted him after the death of his parents. It takes nearly losing Lilly to make him realize that none of that matters.
If you want a smoking hot romance that will keep you laughing look no future.
