I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book is a standalone and the characters in each book in this series are unrelated, but I suggest that you read the complete series and they are wonderful steamy stories with a hint of danger in each of them.
This is a modern retelling of Beauty and The Beast, but unlike other retellings, Weston is a gorgeous silver-haired man - his scars come from deep within. For hundreds of years his family has controlled the State of Montana through fear and blood and his father trained him from a young age to be the enforcer and the mountain hid all the bodies.
This book is action-packed from beginning to end. It is full of danger and intrigue as Callista sees the man behind his contradicting facade and digs for the truths he is hiding. This enemies-to-lovers forced proximity romance is smoking hot with unexpected twists. Highly recommend!
