REVIEW - DANGEROUS ALLY by Michelle Grey

Lacey Jordan had a feeling all day that something was going to happen, but she flipped the closed sign with a huge smile on her face. It was nice to have been wrong.

After leaving the flower shop that she and her best friend Paige owned she headed for her dad's farm. She was hoping that tonight was the night he finally asked Mona to marry him. She was happy he finally found someone to love again.

When she stepped in the back door she noticed that the table was set for four, but no trace of her father. She was relieved when she heard movement while she was upstairs, but it was only Mona finalizing the food.

Her father was missing.

Caleb Mansfield had spent the majority of his time the last few years abroad meeting with clients and making sure European regulations were met for BioTech Corporation, but he was finally back home in Chicago.

As he was walking to the elevator the receptionist welcomed him back and said that a package was waiting for him on his desk. He smiled when he saw the package was from his mentor Bill Jordan. It had been months since they had last spoken, but as soon as he heard he was missing he hopped on the first flight.

Considering what Bill had sent him Caleb knew that this wasn't a normal disappearance. He was in danger.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is the first book I have read by Michelle Gray and I am hooked.

This second chance romantic suspense is full of danger, intrigue and is steamy hot. Lacey doesn't have a good track record in the man department and when Caleb shows up to help find her dad she doesn't know whether to trust the man who left her brokenhearted years before.

Highly recommend. Can't wait to read the rest of this series!
