REVIEW - PACK REJECT by Merri Bright

Flor was high in the branches of the tree holding perfectly still as the hunting pack passed underneath her. She has been their prey every night for the past four years. The Alpha had started the 'games' years before her when the girls in their pack turned 18, but he had grinned evilly when he had the Head Enforcer announce they were changing the rules and there would be only one prey - her... despite she had only been sixteen at the time.

So she ran and has been hiding every night since then. Because to lose would mean being forcefully mated and she had other plans. The other wolf packs would be arriving in the next few days for the Conclave and she only needed to avoid the hunters until then. Then she hopes she can win a competition and have another adopt her into their pack.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Instead of protecting his pack, their Alpha only allowed his enforcers to shift and grow stronger. Not only making their connection with their own wolf non-existent but only allowing them the minimum of rations to survive.

This book is action-packed and full of danger. Flor just wants to escape, but when the other three packs start arriving she doesn't understand the feelings she has for these Alpha Heirs especially when they claim she is their true fated mate. It was rare for the Moon Goddess to grant you a true mate, but for five wolves to claim her was crazy and she wanted nothing to do with it.

Warning - this book does not have a HEA and leaves you with a cliffhanger. Alpha Callahan is a brutal twisted leader who leads by greed not caring about his pack. Only his own pleasure. This shifter romance has a lot of twists, turns and secrets. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

If you love shifter romances you are going to love this story!
