REVIEW - MASTER BISTRITA by Sylvia Black

The vampire rogues and shifters have entered his territory in the Carpathian Mountains and he and the other Masters are determined to end this war that has gone on far too long.

The purebloods are determined that Lucas and his rogues don't win this war. He wants to go back to the original ways and killing humans indiscriminately and wants to take the purebloods place as ruler.

As Bistrita and the other Masters are studying the map they are interrupted when a barely dressed redhead bursts through the door. Natalia's best friend Chara. What does this human woman think she can do to protect Natalia against rogue vampires and shifters?

I loved this continuing saga in the Masters' fight against the rogue vampire Lucas and his followers. This book is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book can be read as a standalone, but the characters are recurring and the backstory continues throughout the series.

This book is action-packed and full of danger. Bistrita can't believe that Chara is his fated mate as she doesn't have a submissive bone in her body and keeps finding her life in danger instead of staying where he knows she will be safe.

This book has a surprising antagonist and they finally get their answers to Embree's betrayal. I look forward to the next book in the series and feel it might be where Lucas finally loses this war.

If you like paranormal romance involving vampires and witches you will love this book. Highly recommend!
